DOMINOPOWER SITE OF THE MONTH
Domino SuperSearch
By Heather McDaniel

The DominoPower Site of the Month for December is Lotus Domino SuperSearch by Martin Scott Consulting. If you are looking for anything Domino-related, this site is for you. Although the site itself has a simple look, if you want information, it's a nice place to visit. It contains a list of Lotus Notes and Domino Web sites and discussion groups, which you can choose to search at the same time, as shown in Figure A.

Domino SuperSearch can do meta-searches across many sites. Roll over picture for a larger image.

To test the search engine, I instructed the it to search a handful of sites for "dominopower." What I got was a window with the search results for each site. There was quite a bit of information to be found. A note of warning for those who feel tempted to search all of the sites at once -- this will use up your memory (JavaScript opens many windows) and your computer will crash. Although there is a warning about this posted on the site, I had to learn this the hard way.

Overall, Lotus Domino SuperSearch provides a quick, easy way to find a specific item about Notes or Domino. Check it out at http://www.martinscott.com, and click Domino SuperSearch.

Your site can earn this special banner
Do you run a special site, one that offers an exceptional example of Domino in action, or provides a great resource for Notes and Domino users? If so, your site may be eligible for consideration as the DominoPower Site of the Month. If chosen, you'll even be entitled to display the lovely banner shown in Figure B.
