A sneak peek at Lotus Enterprise Integrator 3.0 (continued)

The PeopleSoft connector supports Real Time, Scripting, and Destination Direct Transfer activities.

Domino Connector for JD Edwards OneWorld
This connector can extend your current Domino applications to exchange data with the JD Edwards business process management environment, in particular Master Business Functions for Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales and Inventory.

This can be accomplished either via scripting or through the basic activity functions (including Real Time). To run connections to JD Edwards, you must have the OneWorld client software installed on the LEI server and the connector file. This connector supports Polling, Replication, Real Time, Archive (to JD Edwards) and Direct Transfer (one way to JD Edwards) activities.

Domino Connector for SAP R/3
The SAP R/3 connector provides cross-platform integration that exploits the Business Object (BAPI) and Remote Function Call Interface (RFC) technology present in SAP R/3. All of the business rules present in SAP remain when using this connector. One of the most powerful features of this connector is that it allows you to create and execute custom RFC functions from within a given Domino application. This connector supports most of the LEI activity base, including: Direct Transfer, Archive (with SAP being the destination), Scripted, Polling, Command, Java and Real Time activities.

Domino Connector for BEA TUXEDO
Using this connector, you can integrate BEA TUXEDO's transactional processing engine with LEI's Real Time Activity. You can also initiate TUXEDO services and read and write data to TUXEDO managed data sources. The connector can also allow you to access IBM mainframes directly via SNA and TCP products provided by BEA. In order to establish a native connection to BEA TUXEDO via LEI, you must have your LEI server located on the same host as the BEA server. BEA TUXEDO supports Real Time, Direct Transfer, Replication, Archiving and Polling activities.

Domino connector for Novell Directory Services (NDS)
The NDS connector allows Administrators to grab data from a Novell NDS system. Using this connector, you can perform data transfers and replication activities via LEI. It supports Netware 4.11 and higher.

Domino connector for Domino Directory Services/PNAB
You can perform a direct transfer of NAB (Name and Address Book) information or a replication activity with this connector, and support is included for the native common Notes hierarchy. Domino Release 4 and 5 are supported.

Domino connector for LDAP
The Domino LDAP connector will allow you to connect to any LDAP directory service. Versions V2 & V3 are supported with this connector. Note that propagation of deleted information is not currently supported using the Transfer Activity functionality in LEI 3.0.

MetaConnectors will change your life
Given that links have now been renamed "connectors", meta-links are now called "MetaConnectors". MetaConnectors are operations that occur before data is transferred prior to any given activity. They can be very useful in monitoring and debugging problems that arise during the processing of LEI activities.
