How to use UI standards to cut your Notes development time by 15% or more (continued)

At Tactica, we've created formal definitions for the Lotus Notes design elements shown in the tables below. You should use these as a starting point for your own set of standards. Table A, for example, shows where we've defined standards for Notes forms.

We also defined standards for views and folders, as you can see in Table B.

We've even gone so far as to specify the font, color, size, and style for categorized columns. Table C shows you what we've decided on.

We also decided on the effects we wanted for different aspects of our navigators. Check out Table D to see what we decided.
