Two kudos and a complaint to Lotus (continued)

I have a lot of clients that want to have some users participate in an app or two, but those users do not need Notes Mail, or any kind of Notes install. I just can't see telling them that they have to pay $40 per user for that kind of access. And keeping track of the different CALs will be a nightmare.

This totally blows the idea of putting up some Domino Application servers to get your foot in the door, and then marketing Notes based upon the App Server's performance. It's always nice to get in there and then show them the obvious benefits of Notes Mail, C&S, etc. I really think Lotus has shot themselves in the foot.
