Seagate Software delivers business intelligence solutions
By Seagate Software

This month, Seagate Software lets you know about their business intelligence solutions, which help you access, analyze, report on, and share Lotus Notes and Domino data. They also give you the scoop on how you can win a trip for two to Lotus DevCon 2000 in San Francisco.

Seagate Software delivers business intelligence solutions that help you access, analyze, report on, and share Lotus Notes and Domino data.

Seagate Crystal Reports enables you to create rich, presentation-quality reports that you can view and analyze over the Web or in Domino applications -- without compromising Domino security.

If you're a developer, Seagate Crystal Reports provides the capabilities to combine enterprise data (relational databases and data from *.nsf files) into one report, including subreports, cross-tabs, and drill-downs, to provide a complete view of business information. It also lets you incorporate flexible Web reporting into your applications.

Seagate Analysis, a free standalone product, is a desktop analysis tool that gives you easy access to Domino data, as well as enterprise data. You can create powerful queries, create reports, and perform multidimensional analysis on Forms and Views. Seagate Analysis makes it easy to analyze information that is important to you -- over a network or the Web.

Native connectivity to Lotus Notes and Domino data
Seagate Software offers native connectivity to Notes and Domino. By using a native driver you won't have to configure the Notes SQL ODBC driver on every user's desktop. It's easier than ever to view and print reports over the Web, create complex queries based on Forms and Views, or distribute reports with a Domino application.

Download the native driver and give it a try! It supports versions of Lotus Notes from 4.5 to R5. The driver is updated regularly, so check every few weeks to ensure that you have the latest version. If you have questions about installing and using the native driver, overview and troubleshooting documents are available on the Seagate Software Web site.

Calling all reporting superheroes
To illustrate the power of great reporting for Notes and Domino, Seagate Software is looking for reporting superheroes. If you've built a report with Seagate Crystal Reports or Seagate Analysis that has provided a competitive advantage to your organization or saved time and/or money, let us know. Share your report and its resulting benefits and you could win a trip for two to Lotus DevCon 2000 in San Francisco. Visit our Web site at http://www.fetchseagate.com/lotushero and tell us why you are a reporting superhero. You could be up, up, and away to exciting San Francisco!
