Domino portals, part deux -- but wait, there's more! (continued)

Frank's site is a collection of a ton of links, as you can see in Figure D, which he has been gathering since 1993. Since the list of links is so large, you might find that some links are not extremely useful or are outdated. But you are also very likely to find a gem of a site that contains information for which you've been looking for months. And, if you have a Domino-related site and aren't included in Frank's list of links, Frank invites you to his home page to submit a link to your site.

By browsing through Frank's site, I found links to a lot of useful sites I've never seen, including one cool site called Just Notes Jobs (at http://www.justnotesjobs.com). I expect to cover Notes jobs in a future @DbColumn.

DominoPro
I can't recall exactly how I stumbled upon this site, but I'm certainly glad I did. I think I found it when I was searching the Notes.net gold discussion forum one day. This site, which you should check out at http://www.dominopro.com, has some great editorial articles and, of course, the obligatory Domino news links. It also has a great feature called Ask Ben, where you can ask a Domino expert named Ben that question that's been bugging you. There is also a tip newsletter called DominoWire that you really need to sign up for if you don't already receive it, as shown in Figure E.

One thing to definitely check out on this site is the upcoming launch of the Advanced Programmability Forum, which will be moderated by Bob Balaban and Karen Hobert. You can sign up to be notified when this forum is launched and even request to be a beta tester. I've signed up, so come join the party!

Cycom, Inc.'s Lotus Notes resource page
This site was given the DominoPower Site of the Month award for February 1999. (Check it out at http://home.att.net/~cycom-inc/.) After comparing what the site looked like then to how it looks now, it's obvious the site has been redesigned to help link users better find the information they are looking for. There are tons of links on the home page, and most are categorized under logical headings, as you can see from Figure F. The only problem is that you may feel like a kid in a candy store and have a hard time deciding what to explore first.
