DOMINOPOWER SITE OF THE MONTH
Filter.com
By Heather McDaniel

Here's a Web site powered by Domino that managed to find it's way through our selection filters to become DominoPower Magazine's Site of the Month -- Filter.com.

Filter.com, shown in Figure A, is a portal for members of the filtration industry who use Domino Release 5 technology. The site was built so administrators don't need to know anything about Web site development, but can still control the Web site's content, with the ability to make wording, graphics, and format changes at any time.

Filter.com is a portal for members of the filtration industry who use Domino Release 5 technology. Roll over picture for a larger image.

Administrators can also develop new content and specify the dates for that content to be posted to the site. The site then automatically posts the information on the specified dates only. All new documents created by users are sent to the administrator's queue for approval, and, once approved, are automatically posted to the site.

You'll have to register with Filter.com (it's free) to see some of the other solutions the site provides for the filtration industry. Advertisers have the ability to purchase an advertisement from the site by selecting the available banner dates and uploading their GIF image to that site. The advertisement placement is then dynamically generated. Members can buy or sell products through the site.

Your site can earn this special banner
Do you run a special site, one that offers an exceptional example of Domino in action or provides a great resource for Notes and Domino users? If so, your site may be eligible for consideration as the DominoPower Site of the Month. If chosen, you'll even be entitled to display the cool banner shown in Figure B.
