Distance learning with LearningSpace (continued)

Final Impressions
I've been working with LearningSpace Anytime 3.0 for about three months now. All in all, I like what I've seen once I got through the installation and configuration. The implementation is clean and thorough. My primary gripes center on the very specific nature of the client requirements necessary to participate in a LearningSpace Live session. With each new caveat, I felt that Lotus was erecting an ever rising wall, one that may keep some students from having a rewarding distance learning experience.

My company is planning on rolling our course out in the first quarter of 2000. If you'd like to see our LearningSpace implementation, point your browser to http://training.tacticatech.com (this site will be ready on-line on January 17, but not before then). I'd appreciate any feedback that you'd care to give.

Considering using LearningSpace? Got other war stories to share? Contact me at the address below and we'll do a follow-up article. Keep checking DominoPower for more information.
