A closer look at Manila and Radio UserLand (continued)

Also consider that UserLand is still plumbing the depths of outlining as a thoroughgoing enabler of Internet applications. They're offering a new XML-capable file format to the industry, OPML (Outline Processor Markup Language). See http://radiodiscuss.UserLand.com/opmlSpec for more information.

In many respects, Radio UserLand is a laboratory demonstrating the future of the Internet in usable form. As it evolves, UserLand appears to be positioning Radio UserLand more as a writing tool than a music application. Radio UserLand is still in open beta as of late October 2000, but it won't be for long. Why not download it and explore for yourself?
