DOMINOPOWER SITE OF THE MONTH
Web site offers useful Notes downloads, tips, and tutorials
By Steve Niles
In his article, "Free software that can make your job easier," elsewhere in this issue of DominoPower, Senior Technical Editor Richard Echeandia talks about a couple of free applications available from Notes.net, a site I'm sure almost all of you are familiar with. June's DominoPower Site of the Month has a very similar name, but if you've seen one, you've definitely not seen them all. The site is called Notesnet.Com, and you can find it at http://www.notesnet.com. It's pictured in Figure A.

Notesnet.Com shouldn't be confused with Notes.net. Click picture for a larger image.
Notesnet.Com's Web master and editor, Rouslan Zenetl, describes it as a Notes advocacy site. As he writes in the site's introductory article, "We believe in advocacy through information. Ultimately we believe that the more you know about Notes the better you'll like it."
He goes on to list some of what you'll find at Notesnet.Com, including, "downloads, training, tutorials, tips, documentation, discussion forums, and more." Another interesting feature is what he calls the bookshelf. Various Notes related books are featured, and links are provided to where you can find them on Amazon.com.
Zenetl informed me that the site runs on Linux and version 5.06a of Domino. Everything on the site is implemented using Domino, he says, "not so much because of blind-pride for Domino, as because Domino is a product that can work miracles almost on its own."
If you enjoyed the resources and tips our own Senior Technical Editors provided in this issue of DominoPower, then you should definitely check out what Zenetl has to offer over at Notesnet.Com.
