DOMINOPOWER SITE OF THE MONTH
Stay current in the world of WebSphere at WebSphere World
By Steve Niles

Back in November of 2001, the editors here at DominoPower created a WebRing for IBM's WebSphere. If you run a WebSphere-related site, you're encouraged to go to the WebSphere WebRing and register your site there. You can find it at http://f.webring.com/hub?ring=websphere. I stopped by there today, and that's where I found January's DominoPower Site of the Month. It's called WebSphere World, and you can find it at http://www.websphere-world.com. It's pictured in Figure A.

WebSphere World is a user-driven, independent site set up as a hobby by a WebSphere/Java architect by the name of Chuen Hau Lo. As such, any tips or procedures you find on the site "are provided as-is, and they may or may not be supported by IBM."

The site's homepage is dominated by regularly updated news postings, but there's much more to discover, such as reviews, links, and downloads. The older posts are archived by topic. Topics include announcements, programming, Linux, and J2EE. I was especially surprised to discover a humor topic with such titles as "Helpdesk quotes that can be used as T-shirt fronts," and "How many Internet mail list subscribers does it take to change a light bulb?"

For news, information, and even entertainment related to the world of WebSphere, be sure to pay a visit to WebSphere World at http://www.websphere-world.com.

Your site can earn this special banner
Do you run a special site, one that offers an exceptional example of Domino in action or provides a great resource for Notes and Domino users? If so, your site may be eligible for consideration as the DominoPower Site of the Month. If chosen, you'll even be entitled to display the fantabulous banner shown in Figure B.
