Adding response documents to your expanding and collapsing response document rows (continued)
Select all the text in the form and ensure that it's set to "Pass thru HTML".
Refresh the HTML page and voila! You can now click on the plus symbols to expand and collapse the display of the response rows.
Conclusion There's a lot more that can be done to extend the core functionality described in this article. For example, the little "plus" image could be changed to a "minus" image depending on whether the row is collapsed or expanded, and we could add functionality to show or hide all rows. Additional functionality such as this adds more complexity, and I wanted to keep it simple for this set of articles. The full solution that I implemented in my final application does implement all these additional features, and you can see them in action if you log into the demonstration version of my application, "TaskMaster," at http://www.touchdown.com.au/trytaskmaster.html.

So we've seen that with only a little JavaScript and some cunning manipulation of stylesheets we can implement collapsible and expandable HTML table rows for response documents.
