Become a WebSphere master with TLCC's Introduction to WebSphere 4.0 for Domino Developers (continued)

Further reading
Here's a list of some of the WebSphere-related books on my bookshelf that might be of interest to you. If you have or know of another interesting WebSphere book, drop me a line at dvelasco@dominopower.com, I'd love to hear about it.

You can find the IBM WebSphere Application Server: The Complete Reference at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/asin/0072223944.

You can find the WebSphere Version 4 Application Development Handbook at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/asin/0130092258.

You can find the Domino and WebSphere Together Second Edition (IBM Redbook--free download) at http://publib-b.boulder.ibm.com/Redbooks.nsf/RedbookAbstracts/sg245955.html?Open.

Conclusion
The bottom line is that I don't think you can go wrong by taking this class, whether or not you eventually end up working with WebSphere on a daily or an infrequent basis. The reason is that you will become very knowledgeable about what WebSphere and J2EE can and cannot do, which will help you make informed decisions about what technology to use for upcoming projects. And you won't fear WebSphere anymore. You will know exactly what it is and what it is best used for.

TLCC has promised that this class will be "the first in a dynamic series of TLCC WebSphere courses for Domino developers." After you take this course you'll be chomping at the bit for more, just like I am. This is one of the most valuable classes that I have ever taken, not only for its content, but also for the confidence that it has given me to really branch out into a new area rich with opportunity. It can do the same for you as well.
