Five tips for ND6 (continued)
- Click the "Presentation" button to download a copy of the presentation in PDF format.
- When a demo window launches and you finish viewing it, close it to resume the main presentation.
If you want to rest your eyes, try listening to one of the "Hear From Your Peers" audio events that you can find http://lotus.com/itmanager as well. If you hurry, you can still catch a replay of the event I participated in last December about QuickPlace with the fine folks from SNAPPS.
The Lotus 24x7 Webcasts are like having a virtual Lotus conference just a few mouse-clicks away. So, why are you still reading this when you can be watching Lotus TV and learning at the same time? Popcorn and a La-Z-Boy recliner are optional.

Developer resources to get you up to speed with IBM Lotus Domino Designer 6 This past week I saw the most significant set of Lotus product announcements I've seen since I first started working with Lotus products over five years ago. It is a challenge, though, as always, to keep up with all of the latest and greatest information out there. I'm going to focus on some resources that will help you developers not only quickly get up to speed on the latest improvements in IBM Lotus Domino Designer 6, but also help you become experts as well. So, without further ado, below is a list of some of the best developer information I found on getting the most out of the Domino Designer 6.
SearchDomino.com Webcast: What's New in Domino Designer 6
The SearchDomino.com Webcast: What's New in Domino Designer 6 (with Gary Devendorf) can be found at http://webevents.broadcast.com/techtarget/100202/domino/index.asp?loc=05.
If you only have an hour to learn as much as possible about what's new in Domino Designer 6 and don't feel like reading (see below), this Webcast will quickly tell you the information you need to know. Gary Devendorf will expertly take you through a list of the latest improvements. The Webcast has been archived, and you can pause it whenever you like to go try some of the new features out.
Domino Designer 6 Documentation: "What's new in this release?"
The Domino Designer 6 Documentation: "What's new in this release?" can be found at http://lotus.com/ldd/doc/domino_notes/Rnext/help6_designer.nsf/Main.
One of the great recommendations that Gary Devendorf made in his Webcast is to read through the section in the Domino Designer 6 documentation titled, "What's new in this release?" This will quickly bring you up to speed on the important changes that have been made in Domino Designer 6 and will both reinforce and expand upon the content of Gary's Webcast.
You can find the online documentation for all products on the LDD documentation page at http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/doc. And don't forget that you can always access this information through the Help menu for the product you're working with.
