Five tips for ND6 (continued)

DDSearch 2.0 for IBM Lotus Domino Designer 6
The DDSearch 2.0 for IBM Lotus Domino Designer 6 can be found at http://lotus.com/ldd/sandbox.nsf/ByDateNJ/f090b24ea76b1c0100256c45003e6396.

This is a plug-in tool for Domino Designer 6 that enables you to search the design of a database for certain keywords. You can choose to search all design elements or filter the results by searching a subset of elements. After you install this program, you'll see a new choice in the Designer 6 Tools menu: Search. This will only find the keywords you search for, though, so if you need to actually replace their values, check out Teamstudio Configurator at http://teamstudio.com/configurator.

Notes Domino 6 Application Development Update course from TLCC
The Notes Domino 6 Application Development Update course from TLCC can be found at http://www.tlcc.com/r6.

While not free, this course from TLCC is well worth the money and can quickly get you up-to-speed on the new improvements in Domino Designer 6. It will also help prepare you for the Notes Domino 6 Application Development Update exam (made available on October 7, 2002). If you act now, you can get the course for only $449, which is a $50 savings off the regular price, and it includes, for a limited time, a free Notes Domino 6 Application Development practice exam valued at $79.

You also should definitely check out the "Notes/Domino 6 Special Issue" of LDD Today (at http://lotus.com/ldd/today.nsf/0/ea03a39c37fe3d5c85256c45002253f1), which is packed with articles about the new features of Notes and Domino 6 and how to take advantage of them.

Finally, not specifically related to Domino Designer 6, but cool and fun nonetheless, is the Lotus Notes/Domino 6 Screen Saver, which you can find at http://lotus.com/ldd/sandbox.nsf/ByDateNJ/ee92dd2f99c3b54000256c3a00596eb8.

You can find the PowerBoards discussion on this topic at http://powerboards.zatz.com/cgi-bin/webx?50@@.ee70290.

Conclusion
I hope you've found these resources for working with and learning more about Notes and Domino 6 useful. Rest assured that I'll be writing more in the future about ND6 and other Lotus/IBM products as well. If there's something especially cool (or confusing) about Notes and Domino 6 that you'd like to see addressed in a future tip or article, you can send me an email at dvelasco@dominopower.com.
