Finding the best solution for automatically zipping attachments (continued)
So what's best? ZipMail is far and away the best of this bunch of tools. It seems to be Notes version independent. It's easy to install, and if all the defaults are taken, it works straight out of the box. It doesn't require Notes mail file changes, and it works anywhere in Notes where you attach files, except @command([EditInsertFileAttachment]). The default user interface is pretty much no-learn, yet, in more experienced or adventurous hands, can be extensively configured. WinZip works well too, but not in the Notes context. PKZip didn't work for me, but as I said before, what I saw of it didn't really grab me.
If the size of attachments is an issue for you, then ZipMail is a good solution to explore.
