Finally, we get the opinion of DominoPower Technical Editor Ron Herardian, whose recent series of articles have taken an in-depth look at the Domino versus WebSphere debate. Ron is also CEO and Chief Technical Consultant at Global System Services (GSS), at http://www.gssnet.com. Says Ron, "Value-added resellers, systems integrators, and independent software vendors all have opportunities in the convergence of Domino and WebSphere. Value-added resellers will sell WebSphere branded products, software development tools, and server hardware; systems integrators will deploy and customize WebSphere products to build integrated environments for customers; and independent software vendors will build new software products. GSS, which has been a Lotus business partner since 1995, is evaluating all three options."
