The Notes calendar: scheduling to infinity and beyond! (continued)
There is a simple method of getting the calendar all the way out to September 29, 4004. Select Actions, Go to Date, and type in 09/29/4004. Despite misgivings I typed it in. There really was a meeting scheduled for September 29, 4004. It had repeat instances in 0204, 2204, and 2004.
There was also a meeting scheduled for August 19, 3004 that repeated in August 2004. I deleted all ocurrances of both meetings, counted to ten, crossed my fingers, and returned the view to next Tuesday. The missing meeting had re-appeared on the calendar and was properly linked to its responses.
While George was pleased, he's too busy with meetings to send me flowers.
Do you have an amazing user story? Do you have an amazing user story? Do you have a story where you had to fix something funky? If you do, and can walk us through the solution as well as the problem, send it in to us at editor@dominopower.com. If we publish it, we'll make you just a teensy bit famous.

Nancy Hand is primary Notes admin at a remote site for a large corporation. She was "volunteered" for the position during the migration from cc:Mail. The site migration of 3,000 users was completed in a couple of months with an alarmingly steep learning curve for users and admins from which she reports they're still seeing ripples. She can be contacted at n_hand@cox.net.
