Lotus Notes and Domino job sites
By Dan Velasco
With so many job search sites out there, it can sometimes be confusing deciding which ones to use, especially if you're searching for a Lotus Notes and Domino position. What I'll attempt to provide you with here is a good list of sites to start with. I've tried to include sites that focus specifically on Lotus Notes and Domino jobs, and that's true of all of the sites on this list, with the noted exception of dice.com. This site is so useful for searching for Lotus Notes and Domino positions, however, I've listed it first.
This is by no means a complete list of Lotus Notes and Domino job sites, but it is a list of some sites I've been able to find in the past few months of research. Some sites may offer more jobs than others, but what you'll find is that you get a more complete picture of the job market in your area by researching all of these sites.
There are some very useful sites on which to search for Lotus Notes and Domino jobs that I haven't included in this column because they don't focus specifically on Lotus Notes and Domino jobs. Instead, since they're so incredibly useful, I've included them in the table below for reference. These sites are for anyone seeking a technical position and not just a position requiring Lotus Notes and Domino skills.
Now, let's get on with the list of more Lotus Notes and Domino-specific job sites. I've chosen five sites you should visit on a regular basis if you're looking for a Lotus Notes and Domino job.
Dice.com If I could only recommend one site to search for Lotus Notes and Domino jobs, dice.com, shown in Figure A, would definitely be it. Not only did I find more positions advertised through dice.com than any other job site, but it was also a lot easier to search for jobs in the specific area that I want to work in. You can find dice.com at http://www.dice.com.

Dice.com is one of the first places to visit if you're looking for a Lotus Notes and Domino position. Roll over picture for a larger image.
My recommendation when using dice.com is to use the power of the Advanced Search. This tool allows you to do such things as limit your job search by state and, more importantly, by area code. Narrowing the list down by area code really helped me find jobs listings quickly in the area in which I wanted to work. By all means, be sure to set aside plenty of time to research this site in-depth.
