Wireless alternatives for taking Notes on-the-go

Having been directed to implement a wireless solution using Domino Everyplace Access and a BlackBerry device, I found it more difficult than first anticipated. I described my experiences in last month's issue of DominoPower at http://www.dominopower.com/issues/issue200111/seeking001.html.
Server software
After being frustrated by not being able to get Domino Everyplace working correctly, I started investigating other companies that provide or will soon provide wireless connectivity to Lotus Notes mail and calendar information. Here are a few of the software alternatives that I may investigate further.
iAnywhere Mobile Mail
iAnywhere Mobile Mail (at http://sybase.com/products/mobilewireless/ianywheremobilemail) is, to quote their website:
…an out of the box solution for enabling 'always-available' access to enterprise email, calendar, contact, and task information from mobile and wireless devices. It securely extends email and professional productivity information from enterprise email systems including Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange to a variety of mobile and wireless devices including Palm, Windows CE, Pocket PC, and EPOC.
Sybase is a pretty reliable company, so this solution definite merits further examination.
Visto's Enterprise Solutions (Visto mLynx Access Family)
You can find Visto's Enterprise Solutions (Visto mLynx Access Family) at http://www.visto.com/products/enterprise/index.html.
Visto currently offers a Microsoft Exchange wireless solution but promises a Lotus Notes solution is forthcoming as well. Visto has also announced a partnership with Handspring that involves developing a wireless email solution for the Treo, although nothing is specifically mentioned in the press release about Lotus Notes. JP Mobile's SureWave Mobile Server
You'll find JP Mobile's SureWave Mobile Server at http://jpmobile.com/surewave.asp.
The SureWave Mobile Server is supposed to work with the BlackBerry and Lotus Notes, so I'll definitely be checking this out further. To quote their Web site, "Based on open SyncML standards, JP Mobile allows users to sync any desired information to all of their devices and corporate server with one keystroke." It is certainly a solution that looks interesting.
