DOMINOPOWER SITE OF THE MONTH
Another look at the Cycom Lotus Notes Resource Page
By Steve Niles

Back in February of 1999, Heather McDaniel chose Cycom, Inc.'s Lotus Notes Resource Page as DominoPower Magazine's Site of the Month. You can find that article at http://www.dominopower.com/issues/issue199902/coolsite0299001.html. Recently, reader Thomas Votinelli contacted me with the suggestion that we once again select Cycom, Inc.'s Lotus Notes Resource Page as the DominoPower Site of the Month. Thomas wrote, "I thought you might want to include the Cycom site again because it seems to have evolved into so much more since February 1999."

I checked it out for myself and had to agree that it's certainly a worthy return candidate. You can see it for yourself at http://home.att.net/~cycom-inc/. Cycom, Inc.'s Lotus Notes Resource Page is pictured in Figure A.

Thomas is a huge fan of the site. He explained to me, "This site is what I needed! I wasted a lot of time searching other sites, and I could not find what I needed. It's all here, on one page! This site has a lot of information without being too cluttered. I also use the travel page whenever I have a business trip. The site also has a great feature that allows you to initiate a chat on-line with the site administrator (or some agent). This was a big help."

Indeed, Cycom, Inc.'s Lotus Notes Resource Page has a lot to offer Notes users. For example, the Cycom, Inc. Travel Assistant Page that Thomas alluded to will provide driving directions between any two addresses through MapBlast. On that page you'll also find a currency converter, a Travelocity Fare Finder, and a link to Travelscape.com.

On the main page are links to discussion groups, agents, Lotus products, reference materials, learning and job opportunities, and more. Cycom, Inc.'s Lotus Notes Resource Page at http://home.att.net/~cycom-inc/ is definitely worth looking at again.
