Easily address messages in iNotes
By Dan Velasco

Would you like to save time when when addressing messages using iNotes? When you first create a new message using iNotes, you'll notice that you have links at the top of the message named "To", "cc", and "bcc" that you can click to bring up the Select Addresses dialog box. The tip here, though, is that you don't always need to use the Select Addresses dialog box in order to search for people. Instead, you can simply type in part or all of their actual name in the "To", "cc", and "bcc" fields and then click the little icon (a checkmark with a person's head) that appears to the left of these fields.

Clicking this icon will perform a search of the address book for you without the need to have to bring up the dialog box to choose the names. You can even type names in all of the boxes and then click just one of the icons. The lookup will be performed for all three addressing fields.

This will probably work best for smaller address books and/or for people with unique names. A little bonus tip that I sometimes use in both iNotes and Notes when addressing messages is to type someone's name and follow it with a forward slash ("/") before letting iNotes or Notes lookup the address. This can come in handy if you have someone in both your personal and corporate address book and want to make sure that you use their hierarchical entry in the corporate address book.
