We're often asked about the differences between the Notes and Domino solution and Microsoft Exchange. It would be politically easy (given we're a Lotus-related publication) to rave about Notes and pan Exchange. But our approach is to give you the facts and let you choose. The key fact you need to consider when comparing both products is that they are considerably different products, and so apples-to-apples comparisons won't work.
